E-Learning

The BHIVA E-Learning Working Group prepare questions based on various BHIVA guidelines. For more information about BHIVA guidelines, click here.

Participants who successfully take part in approved E-Learning modules will receive a certificate of achievement. It is hoped that modules will be developed on a regular basis to cover a variety of the BHIVA guidelines.

The Treatment of TB/HIV coinfection E-Learning Module is open access for anybody who would like to attempt the module. Users will need to sign up for a free BHIVA website account before participating.

All other BHIVA E-Learning modules are only accessible to BHIVA members. To become a BHIVA member, click here.

Treatment of HIV-1-positive adults with antiretroviral therapy

BHIVA E-Learning Module 10 is based on the British HIV Association guidelines on the Treatment of HIV-1-positive adults with antiretroviral therapy (2015) (2016 interim update).

Management of hepatitis viruses in adults infected with HIV

BHIVA E-Learning Module 6 is based on the British HIV Association guidelines for the management of hepatitis viruses in adults infected with HIV 2013.

This module is currently unavailable as the guidelines are now out of date and are being updated. The E-Learning Working Group will then work on a new E-Learning Module for these guidelines which will hopefully be available soon after the publication of the updated guidelines.



Management of HIV infection in pregnant women

BHIVA E-Learning Module 5 is based on the British HIV Association guidelines for the management of HIV infection in pregnant women 2012.

This module is no longer available as the 2012 guidelines have now been replaced by an updated version.

The E-Learning Working Group have produced an updated E-Learning Module for these guidelines (Module 10).

This module is no longer available as the 2010 guidelines have now been replaced by an updated version.

The E-Learning Working Group have produced an updated E-Learning Module for these guidelines (Module 6).
