26th Annual Conference of the British HIV Association (Manchester 2020)

BHIVA Spring Conference update

BHIVA has continued to closely monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19 and following the latest government advice the decision has been taken to cancel the Spring Conference. Despite the fact that we were ready to move to an entirely virtual event again, that has also now become untenable.

Although making any future plans feels impossible we are intending to provide a 1 day virtual Spring Event online for BHIVA members within the next few weeks. This will include some pre-recorded elements and the postponed Best of CROI with an interactive session for those can spare a couple of hours to participate. Full details will be announced shortly.

BHIVA are also planning an ‘Autumn is the new Spring’ Conference on 22–24 November 2020 in Harrogate. This will be a slightly shorter conference and will include deferred poster/oral abstracts and most of the planned content from the cancelled Spring Meeting. Further details of this event will be announced in due course but for now please save the date!

The deferred ‘Spring into 2021’ Conference will now be held on 18–21 April 2021 in Manchester when we hope it will be business as usual.
