Introduction

Following an agreement between the Harrogate Convention Centre and the NHS to extend the tenancy of the Nightingale Yorkshire and Humber Hospital to the end of March 2021, the BHIVA "Autumn is the new Spring" Conference moved to an online platform and became a digital conference.

Such a move made our conference accessible to all and ensured that we provided a safe environment for everyone to participate.

Further to the feedback received from our inaugural virtual conference, this digital conference was an interactive and immersive event. Hosted on the same online platform, it was a combination of live streamed and pre-recorded sessions to maximise the opportunity for interaction and live Q&A.

Sessions included a range of valuable updates, news headlines and the latest research as well as a variety of networking opportunities.
