A multidisciplinary conference for obstetricians, gynaecologists,
HIV physicians and allied healthcare professionals
Venue: Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London
The UK programme to prevent perinatal HIV infection is one of the most successful in the world. The combination of HIV screening in pregnancy with high quality multidisciplinary care for women with HIV and their babies has dramatically reduced vertical transmission rates.
To acknowledge the remarkable progress that has been made in this area, and in support of World AIDS Day 2015, BHIVA held an educational conference about HIV and pregnancy on 27 November at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London.
