Introduction

These meetings provided an independent, unbiased and impartial review of the key presentations which were held at the annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) in Seattle, Washington, USA from 4-7 March 2019.

An experienced working party was convened, made up primarily of BHIVA Executive Committee members, to review presentations and collate the most relevant slides and material for feedback to those working in the field of HIV medicine in the UK.

BHIVA held seven Feedback Meetings during March 2019; the first in London with subsequent regional meetings in Newcastle, Haydock, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Wakefield and Cardiff. The events were held either in the early afternoon or early evening and offered good networking opportunities, including some refreshments.

These Feedback Meetings have now become an integral part of the BHIVA calendar and we hope you share our enthusiasm for these important events.
