The British HIV Association (BHIVA) and ITN Productions are launching a bespoke news-style co-production for World Aids Day 2020 and beyond to go live on World AIDS Day, 1 December, 2020.
Anchored by ITN Productions Industry News presenter Alice Beer, "Health and HIV" focuses on the trailblazers in HIV healthcare and the community, featuring informative content, ranging from raising awareness of HIV prevention methods to analysis of effective HIV treatments, transformative research and challenging stigma.
The programme will include contributions from the HIV Commission, a focus on Women and HIV, a special report on a project in Kenya led by community-based organisation AfricAid and will also explore the impact of ageing and stigma on people living with HIV.
"Health and HIV” will be streamed live on World Aids Day, 1 December 2020, at 6pm on BHIVA’s Twitter channel and will be available after the event on demand here: www.bhiva.org/world-AIDS-day-2020
