Date: 3 - 4 October 2019
Venue: Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London
There will be three clinical case presentations during this session at 12:55–13:40 on Thursday 3rd October and healthcare professionals are invited to submit cases (one per applicant) for review by the Chair of the session, Professor Mark Bower. Cases should focus on problems in the differential diagnosis and management of HIV-related disease, where pathology (particularly cellular pathology, but not exclusively) indicates the diagnoses.
To apply, you must be registered for the BHIVA Autumn Conference.
Please email a short clinical case, ideally as PowerPoint slides, summarising the case including specific learning points.
Your slides should be emailed to email@example.com by 2nd September 2019.
Voting will be available via the BHIVA Conferences App for use during this session, so in addition to your summary slides please include one or two slides inviting audience participation and discussion. A maximum of five potential answers for delegates to choose from will be permissible.
Your presentation should take no longer than 15 minutes including time allocated for discussion, voting and interactive debate with the audience.
Successful applicants will be informed prior to the conference.
