Purpose
The Website Working Group is responsible for overseeing the continuing development of the BHIVA website, including design and structure, and reviewing and updating the content and functionality. The BHIVA website, redesigned and relaunched following the 2009 Autumn Conference in London, has an area set aside for the work of the BHIVA committees and writing groups, including facilities to download minutes and share documents. This improves the efficiency of the various committees’ work and assists the preparation of documents, especially guidelines. In addition, judging panels and the Abstract Review Committee are also able to mark online. Registration for all BHIVA events and renewal of membership is also available on the website. The Publications and Guidelines section has been the most accessed area of the website and the Treatment Guidelines is the most frequently downloaded document.
