E-Learning Working Group

Purpose

The E-Learning Working Group develops sets of questions based on the various published and approved BHIVA guidelines. The first module, based on the BHIVA guidelines for the treatment of HIV-1-infected adults with antiretroviral therapy 2008, was successfully launched during October 2010.

Since then, further modules have been developed based on BHIVA guidelines for the management of co-infection with HIV-1 and hepatitis B or C virus, treatment of TB/HIV coinfection, treatment of HIV-1 positive adults with antiretroviral therapy (updated), management of HIV infection in pregnant women, management of hepatitis viruses in adults infected with HIV, and HIV-associated malignancies.

All modules have been very well received and the average pass rate is approximately 80%. Further modules are planned.
