Introduction

We are delighted to announce the BHIVA ‘Best of CROI’ Feedback Meetings for 2009.

Three meetings have been held in February, entirely funded by BHIVA, in Manchester, Birmingham and London. In addition, two further meetings have been held as a pilot in collaboration with BHIVA major sponsors in Edinburgh and Newcastle. All of our feedback meetings provided an independent, unbiased and impartial review of the key presentations held at the recent CROI conference in Montreal at the beginning of February.

An experienced working party was convened, made up primarily of BHIVA Executive Committee members, to review presentations and collate the most relevant slides and material for feedback to those working in the field of HIV medicine in the UK.

Attendance at the Feedback Meetings was offered to all delegates on a free of charge basis.

We are very eager for these Feedback Meetings to become an integral part of the BHIVA calendar for years to come and we hope you share our enthusiasm for this vision.
