Introduction

The Spring Conference 2021 was a joint BHIVA/BASHH event. Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the two associations jointly agreed that the conference would be delivered virtually via a bespoke digital platform. It was interactive and immersive with a combination of live streamed and pre-recorded content.
